Day 2 Sea World

Our second day we spent the morning at Aquatica. It's an awesome water park at Sea World. The pictures we took there are not developed yet. After a great morning of swimming and sliding I took Maya back for a nap. Tony took the big girls back to Sea World to feed the dolphins and sting rays.
Morgan is holding a sardine between her fingers that the rays come and grab!
We got an up close look at some beautiful dolphins!
That evening we took the kids to downtown Disney and ate at the new T-Rex restaurant. It's similar to the Rain Forest Cafe, but with pre-historic animals! It was really cool, but Maya didn't think so. She was terrified of the roaring dinosaurs! We ate in the ice age room where it looks like a giant cave of ice. The ice turned different colors too!
Maya didn't want to show her smile for some reason! She covered it all night long!
Happy Girls!

Florida Vacation

Our first afternoon at the resort pool after a long 11 hour drive. The condo was beautiful! We had two bedrooms and a full kitchen. We did lots of eating at the resort.
Our first full day we woke up and went to Sea World. We had breakfast with Jack Hanna. He's a big animal lover and the girls like his TV show. They brought out lots of neat animals while we were eating a great buffet breakfast!
Our first show was the sea lions. The girls thought is was really funny! They were raising their hands hoping to be a helper! Unfortunatly we were all the way at the top of the arena.
The landscape and flowers were so beautiful! The Shamu show BELIEVE was the hit of the day! They thought it was so cool that the huge whales could do so many tricks!

Ready for the Egg Hunt!

Our church had an egg hunt for the children.. The girls had a great time.
Easter morning the girls woke up early and enjoyed their baskets and found lots of goodies left by the Easter Bunny! Morgan had a tough morning if you couldn't tell by the expression on her face!
Look at my stuff!
It was a race for Morgan to get the most! HAHA
Thanks Easter Bunny!
Happy Easter from the Brigmans
We went to Barbara's new farm house for an egg hunt and to celebrate Tony's Birthday!

Disney Princess Race

My girlfriends and I went to Disney World last weekend. We ran in the Disney Princess race that benefited the Make a Wish Foundation. We had a wonderful time! It was nice to get away and relax. Saturday morning we did the race and we were done by 8:00. We spent the rest of the day shopping and hanging out at the pool. The weather was gorgeous!
This is me in the black, approaching the finish line. This was my 3rd 5K race and I cut my time by 3 min. The race course was so cool, we ran through Epcot and all the characters were there to cheer us on. Lots of people in the race dressed up as princesses! Not me, it was too hot.
My girlfriend PJ and I with our ribbons!
Sharon and Kem ran the 1/2 marathon the next morning! Wow they are brave...
This is our view from the back porch of our resort, the Old Key West.
It was Dr. Suess week at the girls school. They were supposed to dress up as a character from one of his books, and our baby sitter bought these shirts for them last year. They were so happy to be able to wear them for this occasion.
We played outside this afternoon and Maya would not take off her backpack! She thought she was Dora or something!
Go Maya Go!

An Evening at the Beach

We had a beautiful afternoon in Wilmington! We went to dinner when Tony got off work and headed to the south end of Wrightsville Beach to watch the sunset. This was the first time on the beach this season and the girls had a blast!
Maya loved the sand! She said it was so soft.
Morgan is growing up so fast!
My sweet mom would be so proud of her grandaughters! The girls got along great for once!
What beautiful smiles.
God is so good!
It started to get a little chilly!
We had a great evening together!
